November, 2008
Sir Knights and Ladies,
The Christmas Season is here. Let us all remember that the Birth of Jesus Christ is one of the most important events that ever occurred in the World. We celebrate it by giving gifts to each other. Keep in mind that no gift could ever be greater than the gift that HE gave to us.
We congratulate Sir Knight Larry Presnell, Past Grand Commander, KCT, KCTH and KYCH on the very successful Fall Southeastern Wisconsin York Rite Class. The Class was named in his Honour and was well supported.
As Knights Templar we have three Obligatory Celebrations. Our Christmas Observance will be in two parts. On Sunday, December 7th the South East Wisconsin Commanderies will assemble at Lake Lodge. Ivanhoe Commandery will be the Host for 2008.
On Monday, December 8th, Waukesha Commandery will hold our own Christmas Observance at 6:00 PM at Waukesha Temple. We will have our own very special Pot Luck Dinner and the Christmas Program. We will also install the 2009 Officers for Chapter # 37 Royal Arch Masons. The Commandery will supply the ham for the meat course and you are urged to bring “Go Withs” or deserts for the meal. The whole program will be in the Robert Hood Dining Room. Please bring your family to this Annual Observance. The Right Eminent Grand Commander will read his own Annual Message.
Homer Armagost, Commander
