The Beginnings

Since 1852, Waukesha Lodge No. 37, Free & Accepted Masons has played an integral role in the life of the local community as well as the State of Wisconsin.

Built in 1904 and located at 317 South Street in downtown Waukesha, the Waukesha Masonic Lodge has been designated a local landmark by the Waukesha Landmarks Commission, because of the building’s architectural and historic significance. Tours are available upon request.

Over its 150 plus year history, men from varied walks of life, including three former Governors, have called Waukesha Lodge home. The common bond among all its brothers, past and present, has been friendship, morality and brotherly love.

The mission of Freemasonry is to teach and demonstrate a fraternal way of life that promotes brotherhood and self-improvement through education, moral standards, charity and community involvement.
